Journal…
In this space you will find a growing group of journal posts. I began writing as a way to discuss the research I continue to undertake. Research that aids me as I thrive to create a sustainable practice that promotes slow living.
There is always more to learn and definitely plenty to share, so I will continue to add to this section as an ongoing process.
Not only do it I want to be transparent and informative about my working methods, but as an autistic woman, I would also like to advocate for neurodiverse minds and discuss the benefits of slow living and creativity.
Please do comment or ask questions and remember that anything I write here is just based on my own personal experience and opinion.
The End of Summer // September Joy and Fig Season
September brings an end to those lazy summer salads and calls for more hearty and warm favours.
As with a lot of foods figs seem to be available all year round, but they are actually seasonal. Even figs that are imported into the UK, do of course taste best towards the end of September and through October.
So when the late summer rain drizzles down on a weekday afternoon, I real size its time to put away the sandals and I find myself crazing a long cardigan and a warm bowl of something sticky and sweet. Figs always hit the spot because they have that ‘in season’ magic in which nothing else can compare.
